CILICIA. Diocaesarea. Philip I, 244-249. (Bronze, 32 mm, 18.76 g, 6 h), AYT K M IOYΛΙΟC ΦΙΛΙΠΠΟC CEB Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of Philip to right seen from the back. On the neck star countermark. Rev. AΔΡΙ ΔΙΟΚΑΙCAPEΩΝ ΝΕ / ΚΕΝΑΤ Diocaesarea seated before Tyche standing left, holding rudder and cornucopia; river god Calycadnus swimming below. SNG France 880-2 (same obv. die). SNG Aulock 5547 (this obv. die). for c/m: Howgego 470. Well struck with a lovely light green patina. Nearly very fine.
